At Stillwater Academy, Turnabout's private school, students are offered a chance to get back on track, raise their grades, and rediscover the joy of learning.

Stillwater Academy combines the structure of the therapeutic program with specialized help, and individual attention. This combination has helped students achieve a 1.5 grade point increase in their GPA on average.

Individual Attention

Teachers and therapists work closely together to ensure students are on track with their educational goals as well as their treatment goals. Classroom sizes are small, allowing each student to receive the help he or she needs to succeed.

The individual attention offered at Stillwater Academy has proved especially helpful for students struggling with ADD as well as other disorders that may make learning more difficult.

Turnabout staff closely monitors each student's Individual education plan. Parents are able to follow their student’s progress weekly through online updates.

Our school has three primary objectives:

1. Help each student meet the requirements of high school graduation
2. Instill within each student a love of learning and a positive attitude towards education
3. Prepare and encourage each student to go on to higher education
